You can’t handle everything by yourself…Weddings are major endeavors, so enlist friends and family to help make place cards, tie bows onto favors, and run errands.
Shoes…Bring three pairs of shoes with you on the big day: heels, wedges and flats.
Get Referrals…Once you have selected a vendor you trust, ask them for referrals for all your other needs.
Prioritize…Determine the 4-5 things you MUST HAVE for your wedding, then just do your best with the rest.
Wedding-free zones…In the weeks leading up to the big day, take time out from the planning process and spend some quality time with your wonderful fiancé. Take these opportunities to remember why you are getting married in the first place, rather than discussing linen swatches.
Must have essentials… Make sure to pack the following in an easily accessible bag. Baby wipes, bobby pins, deodorant, gum, clothing pins, makeup remover, makeup essentials, Tylenol. The list could be longer, but in our experience there is a good chance you’ll need these.
Lastly, don’t sweat the small stuff…Is it really that important that you can only get your flowers you want in off white and not ivory? Honestly, it doesn’t matter at all. For a stress free wedding let it go, don’t drive yourself and those around you mad.
